Choosing a Moses basket is a lifestyle choice. It means choosing a bassinet that is not only empowering small weaving communities in Ghana, but also representative of your spontaneity and freedom to pick up and take bub wherever your journey leads.
Our Moses bassinet baskets are all woven by hand from dried elephant grass by exceptionally talented artisans in Ghana, using a craft that has been handed down through the generations. The gorgeous colours are made using natural mineral dyes that have been developed over many years by our weaving cooperative to resist fading. In addition, we are very proud to partner with our cooperative who provide additional training and all materials to our weavers to ensure that our baskets are the highest quality, whilst also ensuring the expansion of the basket weaving trade and providing fair income for the families. Each basket takes days to complete and undergoes quality control steps to ensure it is every bit the work of art you and your newborn deserve. Following the weaving process, our baskets are steam cleaned to ensure they are both hygienic for your bub and withstand wear over time. The leather handle trim is sourced from the tanneries in Morocco, which we have been fortunate enough to visit ourselves and be immersed and educated in another ancient craft sustaining generations.

TEETHERS
Choosing a Thirty Three South teether is a lifestyle choice. It means choosing a boutique Australian made product with only the highest quality components to ensure no nasty chemicals are going into your precious one’s mouth. We understand how painful and distressing the teething process can be for both bubs and parents, so our natural teethers help make this milestone as trouble-free as possible. We only use Beech wood as it is both anti-bacterial and the most durable timber for this purpose. Our silicone beads are BPA free and food grade, all meeting the ANZ safety standards, in addition to the teethers being independently laboratory safety tested.
